Welcome to East London & South Essex IA.

We provide support to patients with an Ileostomy or an Internal Pouch, or those facing the relevant surgery, within East London and South Essex.

We are linked to the National Office by means of a Constitution and Affiliated Agreement, and are accountable to the National Office through these documents. We hold an Annual General Meeting, normally in late March each year, to which all paid members are eligible to attend and vote.

A quarterly journal, together with a news letter, is sent to all members

We maintain a close working relationship with all the Stoma Care Nurses in the eight hospitals within our catchment are, and can offer support, either financially or otherwise to enable them to enhance the work they do for their patients.

We currently have approx. 200 paid members
